• Add to Inquiry Basket | Vaid engineering industries are the manufacturers of rolling mills, gear boxes and process lines for ferrous / non ferrous sheets and strip and coils.
The pinion stands are made to distribute the single output of gear box in two or three parts. Hence they can be of 2hi/ 3 hi type. The input shaft is coupled to the gear box and is heavier than the output shaft, which is coupled to the two driven rolls as shown in the above snap. The gears are helical and are made of forged alloy steel in smaller sizes [upto 300 mm] and of forged carbon steel in larger sizes and can be hardened and tempered on requirement.
