| Chicago pneumatic india ltd. Supplies lever limit switches. Lever limit switches are applied inused for heavy duty eot cranes, wagon shunting devices, etc. These lever limit switches , to prevent overtravelling or overtraversing on power and control circuit up to 500 v ac 50 cycles/second and 40 amps current rating. The crane control make lever limit switches normally remain closed and cut-off power to stop the motor of the particular motion. The lever limit switch operates wwhen its lever of the switch reaches its pre-determined position the lever limit switch operates. The limit switch contacts are automatically reset wwhen the lever returns to zero position the limit switch contacts are automatically due to spring action. The lever limit switch is also available in ip-41 as well as ip-54 enclosures. In case of ip 41 enclosure, tthe housing is made from suitably reinforced sheet steel in case of ip 41 enclosure. And whereas in case of ip-54, the cover is of cast aluminium. The base and cover also have machined surface tto protect the limit switch against dust the base and cover also have machined surafce. The camshaft on which the cams are fitted is mounted in the housing on moulded bushes of synthetic material which are fixed to the front and rear walls by means of screws and . The cams which are fitted on the camshaft are moulded from high quality synthetic material and are accurately cut to correspond to the switching sequence desired.
