Eskay elevators [india] manufactures a wide range of controls for elevators. The automatic push button control [apbc] comes with one button at each landing whereas the down collective control [dcc] lift has one call button at each landing and a controllers for memorizing all car and landing calls. Both directions of travel answers car calls while landing calls are answered serially during descent. These controls provide significant saving in power consumption and passenger waiting time. The lift has up and down buttons at each landing to select desired travel direction in collective selective control [csc]. The microprocessor-based controller in elevators memorizes car and landing calls, and lift answers of all registered calls sequentially in current direction of movement before reversing its direction of travel. This features result in reduced passenger waiting time and power consumption for buildings where there is significant inter-floor traffic. The operation panel is provided only on landings, with one button to call car at that particular landing and one button for each of dispatch floors. The car on a first come first serve basis accepts the calls. The principal of the collective control can be extended up to a group of three lifts for group control.
