• Add to Inquiry Basket | Macneill engineering designs and supplies moving mast reach trucks [model hi-reach-1015] . These reach trucks are provided with lifting capacity of 1,500 kgs @ 500 mm lc. These mast reach trucks have electrical braking with less maintenance on mechanical brakes. They have lift heights up to 7 meters [lift height can be increased to 7.4 meters with fixed mast]. A choice of mechanical or hydraulic atachments for different applications are also provided. Following are some technical features which are provided with these reach trucks: motor-in-wheel drive unit with gear box. Special steering linkage on coupled drive and idler wheels put turning centre inside the front wheel track. Jib and spreader bar attachment to fork carriage enables the batteries to be changed using the truck`s own lift system. Reach carriage with triangulated guide system gives outstanding stability. Loadings on guide roller bearings and channels are reduced by extra long-centres inherent in this design. Some important features include: solid-state electronic controls; foot brake with interlocked pedal for parking; axle beam casting pivoted on torsional rubber bearings for articulation over uneven ground; hydraulic pump and rservoir mounted on door for easy access and inspection; stacks 1200 mm long loads from an aisle only 2300 mm wide; wider spacing between legs can be offered to allow pallets to be drawn within the wheel base, without having to raise the load over the reach legs. Driver`s seat with angular adjustment to backrest. Seat switch cuts the traction circuit unless the driver is properly seated. Side-seated rider position on reach trucks gives all-round visibility. |
