These are used in cement, steel, power plants, plastics and rubber processing industries, food industries, pharmaceuticals, chemical and petrochemical plants, metal melting furnaces, salt baths, industrial process control, laboratories, etc. The thermocouples are available in simplex/duplex elements, which are protected, in outer different grades of metal or ceramic sheath depending on application. Rtds are available in the temperature range of -200°c to + 850°c with class a and class 8 accuracy, with single or double resistance elements and in 2, 3 or 4 wire circuits with various types of protective sheaths for protection of the element. Thermowells are available in various materials like ss304, ss304l, ss316 and ss316l for regular applications; monel, hastelloy, inconel 600, incolly 800, ss310, ss446 for high temperature; thermo wells lined or coated with tungsten carbide, stellite, ptfe, hastelloy, nickel, titanum, tantalum and silver for corrosive chemicals; solid sintered tungsten carbide and silicon carbide for corrosive gases/ non-ferrous metals in different designs like screwed well, flanged wells and weld-in-wells as per requirement.
