• Add to Inquiry Basket | Santec hydrofluid engineers offers vacuum moulding presses. These vacuum moulding presses are available in 4-pillar type design with provision for 2 and 3 plate dies and 1, 2, 3 or 4 stations operated by one power pack. Die sliding and ejector arrangement is also possible in these presses. Tilting of upper platen at 80 degrees is also possible which allows easy access for the operator to clean the mould between cycles. Advantageous features of the vacuum moulding presses include: short curing time approximately 50 per cent, hence more productivity; vacuum. Chamber enhances moulding quality; vacuum chamber helps to ensure proper cavity filling and eliminate trapped air; rapid clamping and pressing speed ensures a productive cycle time; long life of costly moulds; no air entrapment hence no rejections; and energy- efficient hydraulic system. Some of the elective features includes: tilting of upper platen at 80-degrees, die sliding and ejector arrangement, light curtain in front of the press for operator`s safety, vacuum press with platen tilting arrangement, two hand push buttons operations, no air entrapment hence no rejections. Applications are in o-rings, washers, packing, oil seals, key pads, medical stoppers, shock absorber parts, automobile moulding bellows, boots, etc.
