Intervalve [india] also manufactures butterfly valves qualified as per api 607 for fire safe applications. The ivtl model butterfly valve is a soft seated butterfly valve & has a fully rubber lined single piece body with a centric disc construction and is available in wafer lugged style body pattern to ensure precise location in pipeline.
1. triple sealing system for shaft sealing eliminates any fugitive emission or secondary leakage.
2. self lubricated ptfe lined bearings for both drive end and non-drive end shaft for minimum bearing friction torque.
3. seat liner extending on to the flange contact faces, eliminates the need for separate flange gaskets during installation.
4. controlled compression of the gasket face prevents gasket face crushing failure.
5. bi-directional valve with tight shut off sealing capability
6. adaptability for actuated operation through standardised top flange mounting dimensions for actuator fitment.
7. suitability for on /off as well as throttling duties.
8. choice of seat and disc materials to suit media conditions and service requirements.
9. lugged wafer pattern offers self centering of valve between mating flanges.
10. possibility of lower seat rating to obtain reduced operating torque and extended seat life for low operating pressures.
