| Molex inc. Supplies a shielded, lightweight, 1.0-mm pitch smt i/o connector system. A pcb height of 5.4 mm is provided by this system. These smt i/o connectors find their applications in: personal digital assistants [pdas], cellular phones, and sub-notebook pcs. Available in 10- and 26-circuit versions, the system is fully-shielded for emi/rfi protection. The smt connectors have some technical features which include: receptacle and cable-side plug use a leafstyle contact design for smooth insertion and secure contact. Made of high-temperature plastic to withstand smt reflow soldering. Some specifications include: a 0.5-mm pitch, single-row, pcb tail design for easy inspection and improved solderability.
