| Polytronics series tr-600 represents transducers, which convert power line parameters such as frequency, voltage, current and also level, speed to a simple dc voltage or current signal. These transducers are optogalvanically isolated up to 2 kv, which overcome the problems in safeguarding costly equipment and ground looping. The input signal is converted into a suitable voltage level and then it is optically isolated to get the output signal. The process transducers accept power line parameters like kw, kva, frequency, etc. The features are: can accept process as well as power signals, useful for pc interface, eliminates ground looping problems, and compact yet rugged din rail enclosure. The applications include: utility in process and power industries, used as basic signal conditioners and for input to supervisory data acquisition system, used to generate input signal for distributed control system, control room monitoring, etc.
