• Add to Inquiry Basket | Widia [india] manufactures helimill m-300 helical cutters for milling steps, shoulders and slots on all steels, cast iron and high-temperature alloys including titanium alloys. These helical cutters suited for machining centres and milling machines in general engineering industries and die & mould making industries. These cutters offer advantages like fully overlapping, helically stepped arrangement of indexable inserts; flute number corresponding to effective teeth number. The m-300 helical cutters use proven indexable inserts of m-680 square shoulder-milling cutters. The high positive cutting edge geometry of these high-performance inserts produce soft cutting action and reduces power consumption. The large helix angle improves consumption conditions during milling and large chip space and through coolant facility with exit holes in flute area guarantee optimal chip evacuation for enhanced security. The helical cutters are available with salient features like optimized chip pockets, through-coolant facility, good insert support, balanced lead & helix angles with positive rake, overlapping of inserts, only one insert and one spare part cover the entire range. These helical cutters offer advantages like good chip evacuation; high feed rates and high material removal rates, reliable cutting, low inventory, etc.
