• Add to Inquiry Basket | Systems & controls offers universal testing machines [utms] with dual control facility of manual as well as computer control. These utms are used for testing the tensile, compression or bend strength and elongation properties on variety of materials. The machine load frame has ac closed loop feedback drive system with lead screw and nut mechanism [optionally pre-loaded ball screws], column rods centre less grounded and hard chrome plated and column rods and ball screws suitably were in leather bellows. Test speed can be set from 1 mm/min. 500 mm/min, settable in steps of 1 mm/min. Displacement measurement accuracy is 0.1 per cent of fsd or 0.3 mm, whichever is higher with resolution of 0.1 mm [optionally 0.01 mm]. The universal testing machines have micro-controller based measurement and control electronics with backlit alphanumeric lcd display unit for indication of load in kg, kn or ibs, displacement in mm and speed in mm/min. They have features of auto care facility load and displacement, peak force memory, auto stop after simple break, return of cross head to original set gauge length, safety limits for overload and over travel, etc. Online graphic display of test enables the user to witness the behavior of laterial while testing.
