Choksey chemicals pvt. Ltd is one of the foremost manufacturers of construction chemicals in india. The company offers a wide range of high quality sealants. As part of these sealants techseal rdl 940/941 are offered. Rdl-940 is a non-sag material and rdl-941 [pour grade] is a pourable & self leveling material. These are based on is based on thiokol polysulphide liquid elastomer. It is having a `base` compound and `accelerator`. It is an effective alternative to traditional joint sealant materials. These are two components sealants which can take on repeated extension, compression & cyclic movements without loss of adhesion. It comes with following standard features:
after curing forms a tough, elastic and flexible rubber like material.
Bonds strongly to most of the building materials with the use of recommended primers.
Unaffected by uv rays, ozone and weathering conditions.
Resistant to water, salt water, 10% dil. Acids except nitric acids, 10% alkalies, most of the common chemicals, vegetable, lubricating oils and fuels.
Performs well in a temperature ranging from -40ºc to +80ºc and +100ºc intermittent.
Resistent to biodegradation, prevents growth of fungus & micro-organism.
Slip resistant [sag] can be applied in a horizontal joints.
Movement joints up to + 25% of the width.
Self leveling, after pouring in horizontal joint levels itself.
Waterproofing compounds can overcoat it
Excellent repairability property.
Non-toxic.
Sealant will not cause staining to concrete masonry or stones.
