| J k scale company has introduced a heavy-duty portable platform steel yard scale for high performance and longer life. It conforms isi specifications. The steelyard is graduated to the full capacity of the machine using machine cut notchesthat are accurate to the extent of 0.01 millimeter. This gives extremely quick and accurate weighment without the requirement of loose weights. A notch protection bar fitted to the steelyard reduced the wear and tear of the steelyard notches. . A quick locking device secures or releases the steelyard avoids wear and tear when the machine is being moved from place to place. The box enclosing the lever system is made to provide maximum strength and rigidity. The four wheels are placed on axles for easy portability. This scale is recognized for its efficiency, accuracy and reliability. The lever system is made of sufficient section fitted with interchangeable hardened steel knife-edges, freely suspended, and consequently made to give perfect alignment of the levers. The knife-edges and bearings are manufactured from high carbon steel machine ground and hardened sufficiently to maintain sustained accuracy of the scale. The platform is equipped from high cast iron. A solid drawn steel back rail is bolted to the lever system. The cast iron stool assures the evenly distribution of the load on the lever system.
