| International engineers corporation providesmanufactures universal milling machines. , models according to bis standards um-1000-g and um-1250-g are two models of this milling machine, according to bis standards. Grade i castings are used in fabrication of the machines. Some of the hardware features of this machine include; machine table and saddle are made out of castings containing nickel, chrome, etc. Spindle is hardened and ground. All gears, shafts and screws are made out of alloy-steel. Cutter arbor is made of en36 steel heat treated and ground. Machine head stock is fitted with lubrication system, feed gearbox is oil bath system. Additional technical features of this machine include;other features include back-lash elimination on table lead screw, accuracy as per isi charts, electricals of reputed make with isi marks and duco paint finish. Components configurations include;specifications [the figures in brackets for um-1250-g]:table size - 1100 x 275 mm [1270 x 310]; t-slots3 x 12 mm [3 x 16]; longitudinal traverse585 mm with power feed [700 mm with power feed]; cross traverse200 mm manual [300 mm manual]; vertical traverse - 400 mm manual [450 mm manual]; swivel of table45° for both models; spindle speedseight [twelve]; speed range50-1000 rpm [30-1200 rpm]; spindle nose - iso-40 for both; longitudinal feedseight in each case; feed rate15-150 mm/min for both; cross feed and vertical feedmanual for both; milling-head motor - 1.5 hp 1440 rpm [3 hp 1440 rpm]; feed motor - 0.5 hp 1440 rpm [i hp 1440 rpm] and coolant pump: 1 hp in each case. [440 v ac 3-phase, 50 hz]. Standard accessories include: milling arbor with collar bush, electricals with control panel; optional accessoriesvertical attachment, dividing head, rotary table and machine vice.
