Grade 1 castings are used in fabrication of the machine. Slides and other wear-prone parts are manufactured from castings containing nickel and chrome to make these more durable. All the gears, shafts and screws used are manufactured from proper alloy-steel. Milling-head spindle and quill are hardened and ground. Feed-box has oil-bath system for its gears.
