Poly Vinyl Butyral Resin Based Primer is suitable for non ferrous metal substrates like aluminium, GI, tin surfaces to ensure good adhesion and is used for mild steel surfaces for enhanced adhesion of subsequent coats and corrosion protection. The Primer is offered in yellow colour and has matt finishing. The Primer is a solvent based paint and care should be taken to avoid inhalation of spray mist or vapour as well as contact between the wet paint and exposed skin or eyes. The Primer has flash point at 18 ° C and has 6 months shelf life. The Primer can be top coated with epoxy, PU and alkyd based primers and finish coating. The Poly Vinyl Butyral Resin Based Primer should be applied by conventional spray.
