| Grand polycoats co offers industrial coating solutions. It supplies polyurea gp tough guard 5000 series, an ultra fast curing polyurea elastomeric coating. This is considered to be the world`s toughest coating and with highly specialized applications, right from protecting large hydro power to truck beds, a coating of choice in extremely high abuse areas. The company is a member of the american polyurea development association and its products conform to world standards. Gp tough guard is a seamless, monolithic, flexible, and heated plural spray coating making it highly anti corrosive, anti abrasive and water resistant. Properties include: far superior to conventional coatings - very high dry and wet abrasion resistance [5 times more than epoxies and 17 times better than uncoated concrete]; dries within seconds and has a life span of over 10 years; has excellent adhesion with variety of substrates like blasted steel, concrete, aluminium, eps, wood, pop and plastics with appropriate primer; elongation is more than 300%, to resist expansion and contraction; forms a joint less monolithic film, with thickness of up to 3 mm in single coat; and dampens sound and vibrations, is 100 per cent pollution free. Applications: power and infrastructural projects/industrial structures /f1oors /reservoirs / automotive /transport /marine /hydro, irrigation projects and dams / amusement and theme parks, besides many other.
