This resin system has been developed for use in the manufacture of pultruded composites.
It is resol type phenol formaldehyde resin with very good wet ability.
With the catalyst addition there is an enhancement of process ability and the quality of the composite part.
The developed catalyst is easy to handle and has an adequate shelf life.
Specifications of abron pgr 100 are:
-good flame resistance.
-low smoke properties.
-high strength and modulus properties.
-it must used with an appropriate mould release agent for good process ability and to get good end properties.
