Redson engineers manufactures mechanical presses with four part welded construction of frame, fusion welded heavy-duty rolled steel plates and connected by four tie rods. Some of the salient features of these mechanical presses include fully stress-relieved parts; deflection within design parameters; fully stress relieved and machined rolled steel plate welded slide construction with heavy members for close tolerances; slide guided throughout the stroke length with 8-point guide way system with adjustment from all 8 points; replaceable non-metallic phenolic material liners; and plunger guides for accurate slide guiding to maintain close clearances between punch and die resulting in quality product output and increased tool life. These mechanical presses are available with equipments like motorized screw adjustment for slide adjustment; pneumatic friction minimum inertia clutch and brake system to prevent overloads on motor and slides and stopping of slide at desired position; slide is counter balanced with pneumatic cylinders of suitable capacity for easy slide adjustment and preloading of bearing in the direction of load there by extending the bearing life; and flywheel as drive; pneumatic clutch and brake and rolled and hardened teeth gearings with two-point loading. The company also supplies hydraulic overload protection for complete tooling and slide safety and motor and flywheel for suitable safety guards.
