• Add to Inquiry Basket | Thorough-mix mixer from weldcraft comes as an ideal solution for highly efficient mixing requirement where mixing quality has large influence on the final product quality. These thorough mix mixers are available with an automatic programmable cycle that accomplishes both dry and wet mixing. These thorough mix mixers find applications in welding electrode, ceramic, refractory, battery, foundry, mining, metallurgy, paints, chemicals, glass, building, polymers, etc. The thorough mix mixers offers advantages like most homogenous mix in shortest time; powders of various sizes, shapes and densities; controlled dosing of liquid binder; minimum dispersion of dust; automatic and manual options at flick of a switch. These thorough mix mixers are available with tiltable drum mounted on its base on approximately 30° slightly inclined [from horizontal] position. Some of the salient features of the thorough mix mixers are drum base rest on slewing ring with ball bearings; replaceable wear-plate fitted on drum floor; stirrer fitted to the drum lid that swivel in vertical plane for opening and closing purposes; and dual speed electric motor through a set of v-belts and pulleys rotates the stirrer. The power distribution is designed in such a way that the stirrer motor will start only when lid is closed offer safety. The company provides an adjustable l-shaped scraper along the inside of the wall and drum floor to adjust the distance from wall as well as from drum floor. The lid of the drum also houses charging-door, inspection-door, air-vent and an inlet pipe and a liquid binder as per requirement in the mixing medium.
