| Kushal udyog manufactures and supplies suction blasting cabinets [model kus-120/90 spl] with tumble basket and variable ac drive. The main function of these cabinets is to facilitate deflashing and deburring operation of small and tiny components of soft metals, such as zinc, aluminum, etc. In fast and accurate manner. The equipment functions in two modes, viz. Manual and auto modes of blasting. They work on the induction suction principle of abrasive blasting. A partial vacuum created by high velocity airflow draws abrasive media from the storage hopper into the blast gun, which is directed inside the tumble basket. Abrasive particles issued out of the blast gun strike the surface of the rotating components inside the tumble, thus performing deflashing operation. The split abrasive is recovered and recirculated while the dust and debris are separated from the system. There is clean and pollution-free exhaust air to atmosphere. The abrasives used are medium to fine grade size of glass beads recommended to best suit the application. Other additional feature includes is that the equipment is fitted with an allen bradley power flex ac drive and has its indigenous electric panel with safety interlocks provided. The drive facilitates to vary the rpm of the tumble basket from 0 to 100 per cent in the auto mode of the operation.
