| Pck buderus [india] tool steel co. Offers special alloy steel. Buderus 2344 iso-b is cr-mo-v based upon special alloy steel applied inused for extrusion dies. Its the characteristics of alloy steel are: good retentive of hardness, good toughness, good hardness at elevated temperatures, and good compression strength etc.. Cr_mo_v based special alloy steelit is insensitive to thermal shocks, and easily machinable in soft annealed condition. It this special alloy steel has fine grained soft annealed micro-structure for better hardening and tempering properties [to obtain a fine grained martensite structure], and very low inclusions for better steel properties. Supply condition is as forged, preturned tolerances +2/0 mm, soft annealed to 220 bhn, fine grained annealed structure grain size up to 50 microns, ultrasonically tested, and test certificate as per en 10204/2.2.
