| Megawin switchgear manufactures variable circuit breaker. The type vma 1, of the variable vacuum circuit breaker is suitable for 12/24/36 kv, up to 1600 a. The variable circuit breaker is a combination of vacuum interrupters placed in resin-cast housing, maintenance-free magnetic actuator and electronic controller with sensors. This arrangement implies a that the product is a maintenance-free variable circuit breaker. Product specifications: highly compact, fewer components, simple mechanism, longer life, zero-maintenance, simple, directly coupled linear motion. Advantages of the device: very compact; less number of parts [no motor, gear, levers and linkages]; only one moving part [shaft]; mechanical life of 1,00,000 co-operations; and automatic-supervision of breaker operation and auxiliary switches using advanced microprocessor technology. Zero-closing and opening facility is available as an optional feature. Applications of the variable circuit breaker: in view of high reliability of the vma1 circuit breaker, it is recommended for unmanned substation, auto-reclosure, critical and frequent switching, etc.
