The most modern controls enable the operator to call for a part/location by its code number only, thus avoiding cumbersome recall of the location address. The desired part/location is presented in front of the operator at a convenient height with existing quantity indication, which can be updated easily after every transaction. And all this in the stand-alone operation without any need of external pcs, which are prone of failures in dusty, noisy, rough and tough atmospheres encountered in stores.
