| Sarojini spray systems manufactures universal pole sander, used for sanding of walls prior to whitewashing, distempering and painting. It will be useful for wall painting/finishing/decorating segments. The sander is used for sanding of the walls/ceiling comfortably standing on the floor. The sander uses standard sand paper only. Paper is cut into 3 equal lengthwise pieces to avoid wastage. Since the area of sanding is high compared to the customery methods, the sanding operation is fast and efficient. The sanding block is made of die cast aluminium to reduce weight and resultant fatigue. Rubber base on the aluminium block acts as soft backing for the sand paper and this ensures smooth sanding without any scoring marks. The sanding block has a universal joint, which enables sanding in any direction comfortable and convenient. The advantages envisaged are: productivity is high as the sanding pad size is 236 x 75 mm; area covered per swipe is higher than the conventional method; a person can sand the walls up to a height of 12 feet standing on the floor; no need for stools/ladders; force applied is high and uniform as the universal joint ensures the same; sand paper has a rubber backing, hence sanding is smooth and it will not leave scoring marks; fixing/changing/clamping of sand paper is easy and consumes fraction of a minute only; extension rod is detachable so that movement and transport is easy, as both hands and body is used to press the sanding block to the wall sanding efficiency is high; and the person moves the hand/arm which is tiresome in the conventional method, whereas by using pole sander, fatigue is much lesser.
