The facility is an offshore manufacturing base for avx..The constructional along with technical features includes: monolithic block of ceramic containing two sets of off-sets, interleaved planer electrodes that extend to two opposite surfaces of the ceramic dielectric. They are generally classified into two types: class-i are temperature compensating type and class-ii are the general purpose capacitors with non-liner temperature co-efficient. The company manufactures multilayer ceramic capacitors in chip [smd] and leaded [radial and axial] configurations, single layer [disc] ceramic capacitors and metal oxide varistors [movs]. These are manufactured on highly sophisticated automatic machines in the state of art facility situated in electronic estate in gandhinagar.
