| Maruti seals manufactures straight spring seals, mspl-506 a-b-c. These have applications in high viscosity fluid; light abrasive and sewage handling pumps; handles abrasive slurries of moderate cone; and lime pump in sugar industry. Single spring seal is independent of direction of rotation due to unique position drive lug design that avoids any torsional load on the spring. This increases spring movement and minimises drag on the rotary seal face with the sturdy and long spring design. The seal can tolerate greater amount of misalignment, vibration, thermal expansion and axial play of the pump shaft. Features: handles high pressure; balanced/unbalanced; sturdy and long spring; independent of direction of rotation. Operating limits: shaft dia - 16 to 100 mm; pressure - unbalanced 10 bar, balanced 40 bar; temperature - up to 400°c; velocity - 26 m/s; and axial movement - ±1 mm.
