Maruti seals [p] limited manufactures multi-spring seal. The product finds application in chemical pumps for fertilizer and petrochemical industries; acid pumps; and corrosive chemical pumps. The multiple-spring design of a seal exerts uniform pressure on face and balanced primary ring makes the product suitable for high pressure. Teflon, nylon and grapholi wedge in place of secondary seal ring is also available and identified as ms-502 bw. Specifications of the multi-spring seal: balanced; uniform face loading; double acting; and inside mounted. Operating limit: shaft dia - 16 to 160 mm; pressure - 35 bar; temperature - -45 to 300°c; velocity - 26 m/s; and axial movement - ±0.5 mm.
