Prod-aid engineers offersprovides conveyorised solutions to assembly and packing areas for electronic, automobile, food processing, pharmaceutical and allied industries which is reffered as screw conveyor.. The broad classifications of conveyors available and their applications are as followsgiven herebelow:
[1] belt conveyor-assembly or subassembly of automobile accessories, lamp caps, dry cells, electronic items, consumable durables, packed toffees, and cartons.
[2] packaging conveyor with side tables-packing of pharmaceutical items in bottles or strips.
[3] metal slat conveyor - assembly of two-wheelers in stages such as mopeds, scooters, and cycles; transfer of wooden cases, jigs, fixtures, and heavy components.
[4] gravity or powered roller conveyor- packing in wooden cases, transfer of fixtures, and jigs.
[5] vibrating conveyor transfer of powder/granules and small components up to 3 metres as a lowcost alternative for belt conveyor.
[6] screw conveyor handling of swarf in machine tools, and powder feeding.
[7] delrin/nylon slat conveyor -specially designed for horizontal bends.
[8] powered circulatin conveyor-assembly operation having variable cycle timings or space constraints, inspection requiring rerouting of assembled components for rectification.
