Prod-aid engineers offers a system to feed bulky components weighing up to 500 grams to forging press and similar applications. These systems overcome the limitation of bowl feeders regarding feed rate and holding capacity of the bowl. They consist of large hopper to hold 100 litres of components and 100 kgs by weight. Linear feeders are used to orient and feed components into a magazine, which leads components to shuttle feed. This arrangement includes level sensors and auto on/off features to enable the feeders to work on an auto cycle. Power consumption is very minimal up to 240 v ac and requires only 230 v single-phase ac input.
