Cryotron magnadrives offers electromagnetic clutch of type: ecl [normally off].
The working principle: the transmitting torque is generated by supplying d.C.Voltage in turn magnetizes the rotor mounted with friction material. The armature assembly gets attracted towards the rotor and motion is transferred. The clutch is released by a pre-stressed sinusoidal wave spring when the supply voltage is discontinued. This product can find application in sectors like packaging machinery, printing and packaging, wire drawing machines, powder filling machines, material handling equipments, liquid filling machines, brake motors, industrial automation, machine tools and many more.
Salient features: zero backlash, non-asbestos friction materials, class `f` insulations, low cost and superior quality.
