| Dock-levellers in traditional type come in an old design with poor characteristics in respect of safety in work and installation. The dock-levellers from campisa have been manufactured since 1975. Since 1983, different concept was applied in manufacturing dock-levellers offering new advantages and often-cheaper costs to satisfy different customer needs. Campisa dock-levellers come with most advanced concept having whole drive unit in a wall box installed on a wall inside the warehouse at eye level. This feature allows for easy economical maintenance without manoeuvre necessity to under the platform or inside the pit, where traditional power packs and controls are usually installed for an undoubtedly dangerous, dirty and uncomfortable operation. The dock-levellers are available with one console to hydraulically power several dock-levellers with the use of multiple console depending on the installation type. Some of the salient features of the dock-levellers include one drive unit console; control pad to control each dock-leveller separately; work simultaneously; optimises successful functioning of single parts; repair intervention eliminated; further dramatic economies obtained by reducing the electric mains supply points to one per console instead of one per dock-leveller; about 65% reduction in dock-leveller installations; and about 75% in dock-leveller and powered sectional door installations. These reduction properties result in important economies when installing the mains distribution box. There is a dramatic saving on electricity costs, at global mains power engagement radically reduced consequently by reducing motor numbers. These campisa dock-levellers conform to the standards of en 1398.
