Interface design associates introduces a range of cnc backgauge systems for shearing machines with a maximum span of 3,000 mm. The system includes two single-axis linear translation stages coupled to a single-axis nc controller. Stepper motor coupled to the 2 linear stages with timing belts drives this system. The stages have ball screws or timing belts for their actuation. 2 hardened ground shafts with lm bushes supports each stage. The stopper bar is up to 3,000 mm in length and 2 fingers are given which can be positioned as per requirement. Provision is made for mounting the system vertically on the machine frame. The controls are put in a powder coated panel. An operator panel with pushbuttons/led display is given. Optionally, linear scale can be given to control stroke of the ram, if required.
