Sigma link supplies the new series of couth mc 2000 super fast marking systems. These have great advantages like maximum marking speed, minimum weight and volume, mechanical simplicity, operational reliability, little maintenance and cheap prices. A wide range of materials like plastic, wood and all metals up to 62 hrc hardness, etc, can be indelibly marked at high speed, with very little, if any, deformation of the parts. Flat, convex and concave curved surfaces can be marked. Marking can be made in straight, angular or arched lines as the marking window allows. Marking capabilities consist of hard-to-reach or difficult-to-transport parts. The system basically includes the four interconnected constituents:
- marking unit, with pneumatically-operated marking head and co-ordinate controlled travels;
- microprocessor controller, complete with a lighted, contrast-controlled lcd screen;
- start and pause/stop pushbutton station; and
- keyboard for parameters setting and operation of the stand-alone mc2000k model.
The system has an extremely simple program, which has been specifically encoded to be run by non-skilled operators. All the variables necessary for correct marking and texts to be marked are entered via keyboard using menu-driven commands. Dry-test run can be performed prior to actual marking, the stylus moving around the defined marking contours following program commands. All specified marking data can be introduced and stored in the microprocessor memory for reuse and change as needed. There are various models are available.
