• Add to Inquiry Basket | Pure carbon fibre non-asbestos gland packings [mas-34] provided by mas sealing systems are highly confirmable softer packings that keep leak rats low. These packings are used in a variety of pumps boiler feed, chemicals, fuel oil, transfer condensate return, extreme hot water, etc, and are ideal for steam valves. The carbon yarn is coated carbonised, viscose rayon yarn and has been developed for high specification applications, where sustained operating temperatures are in 500ºc range. Composed of continuous black filaments of at least 96 per cent purity carbon, it shares the non-abrasive, fricational and lubricity properties of its graphtised viscose rayon counterpart. |
