Omax cnc abrasive water jet cutting machine can cut any type of material including forced through a ruby orifice is mixed in a ceramic mixing tube with fien abrasive material, and is used as a cutting media. The cutting process is three times faster than wire cut edm and is 3 times cheaper that laser cutting. The machine can cut up to 3 inch thick steel and 8 inch thick aluminium as well as very thin sheets and has a positinong accuracy of +0.003 and repeatability of +0.0013 as per nmtba standard. The computer controlled machine has an intergrated cad/cam system developed by omax. The machine incorporated closed loop digital drive, brushelss servo motors, pre-loaded ball screws with re-circulating ball bearings and hardened precision grouond ways
