Shantaram reshellers presents various lathe machines. Model sbr-5000 is a special purpose heavy-duty lathe. It has a patented design with unique design features and variable drive for spindle speeds and feeds and a load carrying capacity of 16 tonne between centres. Its features are as follows, admit between centres 5 mtrs [standard], revolving tailstock centre, slide way ground cast iron bed guide ways, machine available with dro or cnc system. Specifications: capacity - max distance between centres - 5000 mm; max distance between centres - 1500 mm; max turning diameter - 1100 mm; max turning diameter - 300 mm; max component weight -16,000 kg; max chucking diameter - 600 mm; spindle motor - 3-phase ac, induction; power - 20 hp/15 kw; speed -1440 rpm; drive transmission through v- belt/pulleys and planetary gear box; spindle speed - variable up to 50 rpm; chuck dia - 150 mm; and chuck width - 80 mm.
