| Pranshu has developed a dc geared motor, which is basically a permanent magnet dc servomotor with planetary gearbox. It is available with reduction ratio of 4.56, 20.8, 95 and 430 with modular construction in 1, 2, 3 and 4 stages of reduction, respectively. It is noiseless in operation with negligible mechanical loss. Diameter of the motor is 69 mm and it has variable length from 230 to 330 mm for various gear ratios with maximum output torque of 300 kg cm. Its weight varies from 2.3 kg to 3.9 kg for different ratios. Only planetary gearbox [photo, right] can also be supplied. This can be directly mounted on any motor to achieve high torque with compactness.
