Pradeep metals presents precision closed die steel forgings, with an annual capacity of 14,400 tonnes and increasing. It has a fully established manufacturing set up with mechanized material handling facilities. Three press lines and a pneumatic hammer, 1600 tonne billet shear, high speed bandsaws, forging presses, billet heaters and furnaces are among the facilities. The range of forgings varies from 200 gm to 400 kg. There are elaborate facilities for die making, heat treatment and quality assurance. Products manufactured include: crankshafts, connecting rods and camshafts; transmission and drive gear blanks; track links and tractor components; crown wheels and pinions; propeller shafts and uj components; steering levers, spiders and drop arms; and valves, flanges and pipe fittings. Cnc machining centers will manufacture toolings using cad/cam technology.
