| Ahmedabad-based nugen machineries offers variable rake angle shears built as per the accuracies recommended by din 55804, which are suitable for shearing metallic and non-metallic materials.These can be easily integrated for on-line shearing applications such as cut to length line, roll-forming line, coil built up line and galvanising line. Two small cylinders at the rear synchronised by differential areas provide hydraulic drive to the cutting beam thus avoiding complicated hydraulic circuits and imported servo valves. The top beam is guided by 3-point roller guides with replaceable hardened liners for minimum wear. This eliminates lubrication of guides. The rake angle can be varied by pre-selection through a selector switch on the hvr box to permit shearing higher thickness than nominal capacity and facilitating distortion-free shearing of thin sheets.Clearance of the shears can be adjusted without need of feeler gauges from a minimum of 0.05 mm required for shearing up to32 swg sheets. Hydraulic shears offer many advantages over conventional mechanical shears. Built-in over load protection protects the machine and the blades against damages due to overload and misuse, less power consumption, least wear and minimum maintenance reduce operating costs and down time are some of the favorable advantageous feature with type of shears which provides better services as compared to conventional type of shears.
