| Nugen manufactures trimans variable rake angle hydraulic shearing machines built with accuracies recommended as per din-imtma standards in a range of thickness from 4 mm to 32 mm and length of 1500 mm to 4000 mm. Two hydraulic cylinders mounted on the cutting beam provide the shearing force. Synchronizing of the two cylinders by the differential area principle eliminates the need of complicated hydraulic synchronizing servo valves simplifying hydraulic circuits. The rake angle of shearing blade can be adjusted by pre-selection by operating a selector switch on the hvr box. This enables cutting of higher thickness than nominal capacity and facilitates twist-free shearing of thin sheets. Three preloaded rollers guide the cutting beam accurately on both sides at an angle of 1-1.5 degree to the vertical to avoid the non-cutting edges of the blade from rubbing against the sheet and avoid trapping of cut sheets between the bottom blade and back gauge. All four sides of the top and bottom hchcr blades are usable reducing regrinding and part replacement. The easiest and fastest blade clearance arrangement is offered on hvr series. The blade clearance is calibrated for different thicknesses and can be accurately set by a lever. The hydraulic hold-downs are located very close to the blade and provide positive gripping of sheets enabling distortion-free shearing of narrow strips. Independent control of hold-downs facilitates shearing on scribed lines. The shear automatically returns on completion of the cut irrespective of job length, reducing the idle travel. Trimans shears are offered as standard execution with main drive motor, electrical control panel, operational console, foot switch, motorized back gauge with digital readout, pre-selected selector switch controlled variable rake angle system, fine stroke adjustment rod with limit switches, lever operated blade clearance arrangement with calibration, hold-down cylinders, shadow light indicator, front sheet supports, left squaring arm with steel rule, four edge hchcr blades, and hardened transfer bars. All the machines are totally lubrication-free. Also available are trimans extra edge hydraulic shears in the thickness range of 13 mm to 32 mm, and length of 2500 mm to 6000 mm.
