Noble industries presents centreless grinder, model cg-200 [with geared control wheel head]. Centreless grinders are suitable for grinding of cylindrical straight, shouldered and tapered parts of different shapes to high degree of precision by using perfect grades of grinding wheels. It can grind steel, hardened and unhardened brass, copper, aluminium or any other metal. The bed is seasoned box shaped casting. The needed portion of the bed is extensively scraped. Control wheel gearbox and motor are housed in the bed. The grinding wheel spindle is made of hardened and ground alloy steel. It runs in taper roller bearings have third point support in the front cover, and is driven by electric motors by means of three v-belts. The control wheel head travels on a movable scraped slide and can be titled from 0-5° to obtain different feed rates for work piece. Axial thrust of the spindle can be adjusted by taper roller bearings. Six different spindle speeds can be accomplished through shifting of lever of the gear box fitted in the base box, incorporating chain drive; wheel truing devices - grinding wheel and control wheel are equipped with perfect separate hydraulically operated truing devices have copying facility to obtain efficient cutting, uniform accuracy and better surface finish.
