| Metfab light gauge shears are manufactured with a range from 1 mm to 3.15 mm and having lengths of 1250 mm to 3000 mm, conforming to imtma standards. The machines are suitable for shearing metallic and non-metallic materials and can be easily integrated for on-line shearing applications such as cut-to-length line, roll forming line, coil build-up line. Two synchronised cylinders provide hydraulic drive to the cutting beam. The compact, simple design allows accurate, twist-free shearing of thin sheets. The 1 and 2 mm shears are fixed blade clearance units with mechanical hold downs while the 3.15 mm shear is provided with a blade clearance change setting and has hydraulic hold downs. The blade gap can be adjusted quickly by means of levers. Smooth cutting with low-shock loads enhances the life of the four-edged hchcr blades. The ram automatically reverses on completion of the cut irrespective of the job length reducing idle travel time. Built-in overload protection, instant stoppage for operator/workpiece safety, stroke length adjustment are a few of the other major benefits. Other products include nc press brakes from 20 mt to 300 mt, vari-rake shears for cutting up to 20 mm, general-purpose presses and other metal fabricating machines for the sheet-plate-section-tube industry.
