| Metfab offers fixed angle hydraulic notching machines with punching head. These are extensively used for notching sheetmetal products like air conditioners, ducting panels, bus body, steel furniture, industrial storage systems, slotted angles, control panels/distribution boxes, cable trays, industrial machines for textile, paper, packaging, etc. Fixed angle notchers having a 90° angle between the two notching blades, are provided for sheet thickness of 4, 6 and 8 mm. The removable punching head can make ribs, slots, straight cuts, nibbling, etc, increasing its versatility. The rugged steel table is given with v-grooved slots and graduated brass scales. These scales controlling stop rods and the positioning squares provided with engraved protractor help adjust sheet quickly and accurately to suit with notch position and size. Due to the facility of automatic adjustment of blades clearance in this machine, it is possible to cut sheets with different thick from 0.5 mm to rated capacity without manually setting of the clearance between the blades. This ensures better blade life, saves operator effort-time and reduces dependence on operator for clean burr-free cuts. There is no requirement of any lubrication and maintenance. All controls can be easily accessed from front. It includes a well-guided head for a safe quiet cutting, which can begin at apex of cutting blades or at the base and is protected against machine overload. Transparent guards of anti-shock material provide operator safety as giving clear view of working area.
