| Metfab machines introduce hydraulic shearing machines with facility of varying the rake angle between blades, which assists cut a range of sheet thickness & materials with minimum distortions. Sheets of thickness higher than nominal capacity can be cut to shorter lengths at maximum rake angles. The rake angle of shearing blade can be adjusted by selecting it beforehand from operator console panel. Blade clearance is adjusted with ease by levers on the side & is calibrated directly in terms of thickness for various materials to enable adjustments without feeler gauges. The hydraulic hold-downs are located very close to the blade providing positive gripping on narrow strips & restraining sheets slippage for enhanced life of blades. Four-edged hchcr blades can be reground with ease. Shear design makes possible ram to move at 1 to 1.5 degree inclinations so that cut strips is not trapped between backgauge & the bottom blade. The synchronized hydraulic cylinders are vertically guided by means of preloaded rollers. System design incorporates overload protection, instant stoppage, stroke length adjustments, so on.
