| Mech-india engineers offers centreless od burnishing machine, cobum series. Roller burnishing is a cold working process which produces a fine surface finish by the planetary rotation of hardened rolls over a bored or turned metal surface. Roller burnishing involves a cold working the surface of the workpiece to improve surface structure. These are designed to give mirror-like finish with a tough, work hardened, wear and corrosion resistant surface. Features: 3-roll burnishing machine, adjustable for various rod dia, variable speed control, high rate of production and self feeding or plunger type setting. Advantages: super surface finish consistency, improves surface hardness, skilled operator not required, innovative compact design, low capital investment, low operating cost, a cost effective alternative to traditional grinding process and high quality finish of precision products.
