| Mass-tech controls offers a range of battery chargers and other electrical equipment. The battery chargers are float and boost or float cum boost, thyristor controlled, constant voltage/constant current type, with up to 500 kw rating. These are useful for lead acid or smf or ni-cd batteries with capacity ranging from 20 ah to 5,000 ah , and 12 v to 220 v or any custom made range. Other equipment comprises lt panels - ac and dc disiribution boards and pcc and mcc control and relay protection panels; metering panels; generator protection and synchronising panels; custom built distribution/instrumentation and protection panels, rectifiers [5,000 kw]; low voltage current transformers, dc-dc converters/inverters and ups systems; and, resistive load banks. Multi range resistive load banks for discharging batteries at constant current come for 24, 48, 110 and 220 v battery voltages and at current rating of 50, 150, 200 and 300 a. The load resistors use copper nickel that has a low temperature coefficient of resistance. The constant current is maintained by switching on the respective compensating switch during discharge of battery.
