| Mercury-in-steel temperature recorders are manufactured by mtc. This pressure recorder is manufactured from pressed steel and die cast aluminium stoveenamelled black weather-proof casing in chart dia of approx 10 inch. Following are some of the technical features of this pressure recorder which include: movements are fixed with quick release pen arms which are removable for cleaning the bourdon tube; entire mechanism is made of ss; capillary tube is made of ss of grade 316 to a maximum length of 50 ft with ss bulb stem and adjustable union; recorder configuration can be single pen or double pen. The recorders are available in electrically operated clock and mechanically operated clock with 24-hour revolution; clocks are of swiss make and are guaranteed for a period of 2 years for trouble-free operation. These recorders find their applications inmeasurement of temperature up to 600°c, and pressure up to 700 kg/cm2.
