Mtc provides sensors. These sensors are calibrated to bs 1826-1952, bs 1828-1961, and 1828-1961, built to withstand demanding process conditions. These thermocouplesare available in different combinations of model, size and material to suit various applications such as straight type thermocouples, angle type, spring loaded bayonet type for plastic industry, and surface temperature measurement probes. Following are some of the technical features of these thermocouples include: all of them are provided with standard connections head and ss protection sheaths. Custom-built thermocouples are also made of mitc cable with protection sheath made of aisi 310 or 316; are very flexible and can easily net around twice their diameter to reach even the most difficult places; have a very fast response time, and are available for measurement of temperatures up to 1,600°c. Custom built mounting arrangement is provided with these thermocouples and with thermowell with any material of construction made of bar stock, to enhance life span of these sensors.
