| Kali srp providesoffers pick & place systems technology. This pick & place systems technology is, which can be used in innovative ways for machine loading/unloading. To construct assembly systems, tthese modular systems can also be combined with rotary tables and feeding systems, to construct assembly systems. An example is the integrated robotic water pump seal assembly station,irwas. This station , which assembles pump seals using modular pick & place units. Following are some of the technical features of this system: the station comprises of two parts, viz, a main assembly station and a sub assembly station. The sub assembly station assembles tthe cover assembly part is assembled by the sub assembly station, which integrates the cover with a rubber seal and a sintered iron ring. The cover assembly, assembled on a rotary table, is transferred to the main assembly station, by a modular pick & place system. A base-spring-bellow assembly is glued with a carbon seal by a different pick & place system, bbefore receiving the cover assembly, a base-spring-bellow assembly is glued with a carbon seal by a different pick & place system. At this stage, the main station receives the cover assembly from the secondary rotary table. The cover assembly is then unitized with the main base assembly by a pneumatic press. The unitized final assembly is then unloaded onto a leak test station for 100% leak testing. The system uses aa unique feeding technique is used by the water pump assembly system to feed the carbon seal, a component of the assembly, which has to be oriented with respect to a complex internal groove arrangement. Also for components such as carbon seal and sintered ring [which are being used after a lapping operation], the surface finish should remain unaffected, during handling. The water pump assembly system is able to system is capable of assemble ing 30,000 units per day, with 100% inspection facility, which allows the assembly to be shipped direct to the user.
